Draw Me a Pokemon: Lapras

A female freshwater Lapras is on the prowl for some fishies.

While Lapras come in many shapes, sizes and colors, this is the color variation people are most familiar with as the smooth shell is preferred to the rough spiky shell of their salt water cousin. Due to this, many fairy services only use fresh water Lapras. In addition, the Lapras famous for being on the team of legendary trainer Red, was a freshwater Lapras. Also I just forgot to draw the spikes.

I tried making her look like something semi realistic, so I based her off of a wider variety of animals. I like it, it makes me want to go out and make a bunch of color variations, like salt water lapras, tropical lapras ext. 

This was done for the weekly "Draw Me a Pokemon" event for the last weeks winner was who called out Lapras. If I win, I shall call out a dragon who needs some lovin: Druddigon.
