The Look of the Hunter

The second of I'm sure many pictures for 's weekly thing Draw me a Pokemon where someone calls out a Pokemon and we all draw it for them! The winner of that rounds get's to call out the next one. And before I forget, because I completely forgot on my last one, if I win I call out Giritina (either form is ok but I like it's normal form best ^^ (and I know it's not Charizard!))

So anyways... this week called out Noctowl, a Pokemon I've had many times before.. but never really... fell in love with. Never the less I loved drawing this picture as I've been wanting to draw an owl for a while.

And this one does tie into my evil cat Mia as well, you know the glare the Great Horned Owls naturally have on their face due to their face and feature structure? (example: [link]§ion=&q=great+horned+owl#/dhia1l )Well that's how Mia looks at me. Only it's not because of face/feature structures.

I laugh at those who thoguht I wasn't being serious in my last journal entry. I am doing one every week and I am trying to keep them sketchy and as realistic as I can. This time I had no reference for him, so I used the pictures I did have and just made up a pose.
